President's Message

Dear Art Patron/Business Owner,
Lakewood Artist Guild is a non-profit organization, serving the City Of Lakewood and surrounding areas. We have provided quality art programs to the public for over 50 years. We would like to invite you to join us by becoming a partner/patron of the arts.

Our 2009 Program is as follows:
* Pan American Fiesta – Mayfair Park –May 9-10
*Spring Art Show/Student Show – May 29-31 – Mayfair Park
*Concert In The Park – Del Valle Park
* Fall Art Show – Oct. 23-25 – Mayfair Park
*Special Artist Workshop – Bolivar Park (2nd Monday of the Month)
*Art Around Town – Community venues for art  displays
*Monthly Meeting – 3rd Wednesday of the month with art demonstrations by professional artists: 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Palms Park. November: Potluck & Silent Auction. No meetings July, August, and December. Art Workshops are offered throughout the year. All events are open to the public and exhibitions include sales. We would be honored to have you become a supporter of the Lakewood Artist Guild. To help to maintain our programs, we request cash donations, gift certificates, merchandise, and donations for our raffle table. Your tax-deductible donations are really appreciated. "Meet the Artist"
Michael Green, Lakewood Artist Guild member, will be having a "Meet the Artist" evening, Friday, April 24th, 2009, 7-9 pm at the Delightful Crepes Cafe.
It will be advertised in the Grunion Gazzettee.
