MEMBERSHIP AND EXHIBITOR’S CODE
I will support the aims & purposes of the LAKEWOOD ARTIST GUILD, a non-profit corporation
for the advancement of the arts. I agree to abide by all the rules and regulations as stated in the
by-laws of LAG & its membership & exhibitors code. I will maintain the standards in my field of
art. I will be professional in conduct and salesmanship. I am ineligible to exhibit if my dues are
not paid. I will exhibit only art work & crafts personally created & executed by me, the individual artist.
I will set up my exhibit only after receiving instructions from the exhibit chairperson. I will
remove any art that may be considered undesirable or objectionable for public viewing by LAG or
the management of the exhibit. Crafts must contain at least 80% of the exhibiting member’s work to be eligible to be sold at LAG sponsored events. I will follow all applicable rules for exhibiting artists. I will pay any set-up
fees required and agree to donate 10% of my total sales to LAG and in return LAG will furnish a
receipt for income tax purposes. LAG is not labile for any damage or loss by theft, fire, or any other causes. Insurance is the responsibility of the individual artist.
Membership may be denied, suspended or terminated by the LAG Board of Directors for
failure to comply with its membership & Exhibitors Code, which may be changed by a board
action. Members will be notified of any changes to the code by mail, phone or newsletter.
